Machine pieced. Forty-nine pieces. I could not resisit using this fabric again for a simple square-filled block. I lied and said Fan Dance would be my next block. But I guess my home minus a two-year-old has caused me to get a little hyperactive about actually using my sewing room. Fun.
Brenda wrote that she used this block, on point, to make a doll quilt for her grand-daughter. I agree that this would be a great choice for that kind of project. But listen to me talking about adding a new project! Maybe in a little while…

These last two blocks are fun–great fabric too!
I don’t think that hand sewing these would have taught you any new piecing techniques…

very cheery fabric – it says easter and spring to me. 9 patch blocks are oddly satisfying to the eye. so simple and yet i love entire quilts made out of only them.
