G-1 Hattie’s Hen House

Hand pieced. Eight pieces. What a pretty block for curved piecing. Clipped inside curves, pinned centers, one stitch at a time, and a good 1/2″ outside edge seam allowance were key.
I am on a roll with the Block of the Week challenges over at janiac.com. If anyone wants to join me for BOW, jump in!

I used the janiac.com challenge each week to keep me going too! I did their challenge and then with another group on Quilters Around the Word (MSN group) there was a group (now defunct, unfortunately!) of lovely ladies doing a block from a specific row each week. I was able to choose an easier block from each row and a more challenging one assigned from janiac.com, and 2 a week wasn’t too much with the small kids…went faster than I imagined!
Hope you are doing well…your blocks are looking wonderful!
